How would you like 2018 to turn out for you – career-wise, education-wise, relationships-wise?
Would you not that God’s “good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2) come to pass in your life in 2018?
Do you want to walk in the will of the Divine for you?

If so, have you intentionally dedicated the year to the Lord? Have you purposefully and particularly taken the time out to seek Him and His involvement in all aspects of your life this year? Or you have just left it to chance and fortune – like the roll of the dice – whatever happens, happens?

Don’t leave your life to chance but take control over it by intentionally and strategically dedicating every aspect of your life to Christ now, at the start of this New Year.

You see, God’s will for us is always the unparalleled best because of who He is, His essential attributes – basically four of them – Omniscient (All knowing), Creator, Loving and (Omnipotent) Almighty.

Creator:
Because God is all-knowing and by extension knows each one of us inside out, He knows what is best and works best for us – He made us!

Psalm 100:3 Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. He is our Maker!

Psalm 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!

Psalm 139:13 For it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

We are God’s handiwork, His workmanship.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

All-knowing
He knows us inside out better than we know ourselves and therefore knows what is best for us. Everything that there is to know about us God knew even before we appeared on the face of the earth – that is how awesome, deep and extensive God’s knowledge of you and me is.

Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in Your book and planned before a single one of them began.

God does not need to rely on guesswork or chance when it comes to His plans and purposes for us. He knows what is best for every one of His children as there is nothing about you and me that escapes Him or He is unaware of – even those things that escape us and we are unaware of about ourselves.

Psalm 139:1 – 4
O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.

Loving
But it is not only His comprehensive knowledge of us and the fact that He made us but it is also because God is love and all His actions and decisions toward us stem from this love that we have confidence in His intention toward us and the goodness of His will for us. Scripture categorically tells us that God is love, that love is who God is.
