One Agenda. One Goal. One purpose.

As He came into the world, The Lord Jesus proclaimed in Hebrews 10:7…

“Behold, I have come to do your will, O God as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.”

There was no other agenda Jesus came into this world for. He lived and died for The Fathers will.

Jesus pursued no other agenda with His entire life except the Father’s – The Father’s will was what He came for, what He lived for and what He eventually died for.

Jesus was driven by this: One Agenda. One Goal. One purpose.

Jesus lived and died for this one thing – The Father’s will.

For Jesus, there was nothing else worth living (or dying) for.
Jesus’ life agenda consisted of The Father’s will.
His entire life was wrapped up in the Father’s will.

This was not only Christ’s intent but His very destiny too –

It was already written of Him in the scroll of the book (Heb 10:7).
It was foreknown before the foundation of the world
(1 Pet 1:20).
Isaiah categorically affirmed that, “the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.” (53:10)

What are you here for?
What do you live for?
What makes you tick?
Who is worthy of your life’s agenda?
Who’s made it to the top of your life’s agenda? Yourself or…?
What are you prepared to live (and possibly even die) for?

Does The Father’s will feature high on your life’s agenda? If so, how high?
Or is it something you defer for later in life?

The entire reason why Christ came down from heaven was The Father’s will.
What dictated and drove Christ’s life agenda was The Father’s will.

Are your life choices and decisions guided and governed by His will for your life? Or just your own?

Very often we cite the lack of clarity in the knowledge of God’s will for our lives for not living for it. But how much have we submitted to that which is clearly revealed in the scriptures and we undoubtedly know of?

Like Jesus, the highest and greatest purpose of your life on earth is to fulfill the will of your Father in heaven.
